Cook Medical Inc., maker of technologies that combine devices, biologic materials and cellular therapies, has tapped Pete Yonkman as president, effective Nov. 13. Yonkman has been with Cook for 12 years, joining the company in 2001 as corporate counsel and most recently serving as executive vice president overseeing the company’s 10 strategic business units. He replaces Kem Hawkins, who will continue serving as president of parent firm Cook Group Inc.
Yonkman’s promotion reflects an expansion of Cook’s executive management team to handle the company’s growth in sales, employees and new markets in recent years, a spokesman for the company said....
