Asthmapolis gets new funding; Rock Health releases Q1 funding numbers; Cochrane Collaboration examines digital diabetes self-management systems.

Asthmapolis, a company collecting asthma data through smartphones, announced a new round of funding on April 4 worth $6.9 million from The Social+Capital Partnership, with $5 million in new funding and $1.9 million converting into equity. On the heels of a recent partnership with insurer Amerigroup in Florida, the money is intended to support greater scale in sales and marketing, along with greater support for the firm’s integration team.
