House FDA Funding Plan Is Below Senate Proposal

The House would cut FDA funding next year under a bill approved by a subcommittee last week.

Fiscal 2013 FDA appropriations bills moving through Congress suggest a similar pattern to the prior two years, where a conference committee will likely need to resolve differences between a Senate seeking to increase FDA appropriations and a House version that would reduce funding.
