MEDTRONIC AIMING FOR 1995 U.S. LAUNCH OF THERA PACEMAKER SYSTEM, which the firm recently introduced in Europe, Asia and Latin America. The system currently includes a line of five pacemakers with common programming commands, a pacemaker lead and a microprocessor-based programmer. Medtronic says that the Thera line is designed to succeed its current line of pacers and will become the firm's core pulse generator products.
